Renowned physicist Professor Brian Cox is to headline a brand new symposium from BT Ireland for world leaders in technology innovation at the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition on Wednesday 8th January, 2020.

Titled Nextipedia, the event will bring together the world’s leading IT minds, tech experts, scientists and renowned speakers to kick start the New Year. The event will share inspiring stories and valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities that technology innovation offers, with a specific lens on sustainability and Ireland’s 2050 carbon neutrality objective.
Professor Cox will provide the keynote speech on the day exploring whether we could be the only planet in our galaxy of two billion stars with life intelligent enough to protect or destroy its environment. He will inspire audiences with some breath-taking imagery and thrilling insights on space innovation and its importance in technological advancement.
In addition to Professor Cox, the event will also boast a fascinating mix of local and global business leaders to share their stories of innovation, all told in reference to the Irish government’s Carbon Neutrality 2050 Plan. Additional speakers on the day include:
